Rai Lai Black, the famous former Japanese actress, made a decision that changed the course of her life. She embraced Islam and completely left behind her former identity. This journey began in 2024 when she visited Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and came closer to Islam for the first time. She started wearing the hijab to enter mosques and meet local Muslims, an experience that brought a new light into her heart.

During Ramadan, Rai began fasting and shared pictures and videos on her social media, showing herself breaking her fast and visiting mosques. Some people accused her of merely seeking attention, to which she responded clearly: "I am doing my work, my intentions are for Allah, so don’t doubt me, focus on your own life."

She acknowledged that some of her old videos are still available on the internet, but she does not own them, as they are old recordings that she cannot remove herself. However, seeing the support from many Muslims who showered her with prayers, dates, and sacred gifts, she said, "I cried when I saw this because people are so supportive and they don’t judge."
