Former President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain has died due to illness.
Former President Mamnoon Hussain's son Arsalan Mamnoon has confirmed the death of his father. According to Arsalan Mamnoon, the former president was ill and had been undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Karachi for the past two weeks. He was diagnosed with cancer which proved fatal for him.
It may be recalled that Mamnoon Hussain held the post of President of Pakistan from 2013 to 2018. He was a senior PML-N leader.
