A father beheaded his daughter in the name of honor and was caught walking on the road with his head cut off. According to the Times of India, the incident took place in Hardoi district of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is reported that the slain 17-year-old girl was having an affair with a young man, whom the father killed after seeing her in an objectionable condition with the boy.
According to the report, the killer was identified as Sarvesh Kumar, a resident of Pandey Tara village in Hardoi, who sells vegetables. He had seen his daughter in questionable condition with his acquaintance a few days ago and decided to teach her a lesson at that time. He came home at 3 pm yesterday and locked his daughter in a room and cut her neck with a toke and was walking on the road with his head cut off when the citizens saw him and informed the police.
According to the report, when the police reached the spot and arrested Sarvesh and interrogated him, he said that he was going to Majhila police station to hand himself over to the police. Police have arrested the accused and registered a case against him. It should be noted that the girl was a student of 12th class and was the eldest of three sisters and one brother.
