The first rains of winter in Shar-e-Quaid increased the severity of a cold.
The first rain of winter fell in different areas of the city including Clifton, Methadar, PHS Society, Surjani, Orangi, Baldia Town, Saddar, II Chand Regar Road, Sohrab Goth, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Abul Hassan Isfahani Road. The rains intensified the cold across the city.
The Meteorological Department said that the rains are likely to continue till late at night in different places. The rain system will end by morning. The cold is likely to increase due to the rains.
On the other hand, due to rains, feeders in different parts of the city have tripped, due to which power supply was cut off and many areas were plunged into darkness.
