It has also displayed its tax number in a prominent place on the wheelbarrow to encourage other small business owners to register their businesses. It should be noted that the rate of taxpayers in Pakistan is very low. According to FBR data, in the financial year 2017-18, 2.63 million people submitted tax returns. Of these, 1.23 million were salaried and 1.4 million were unpaid.
